The White Rose was adopted by the House of York in the years 1461 to 1485 and symbolises the County of Yorkshire. The furniture has the symbol of the rose burned into the wood as a brand, making each piece unique. Inspiration for many of the pieces of furniture come from both Richard's Yorkshire heritage and his adopted home in East Gippsland.
